Pope Benedict XVI comes to the United States - April 15-20, 2008
Pope Benedict XVI will come to the United States with visits to Washington, DC and New York City on a six-day trip which includes an address at the United Nations. The trip will include a visit to the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center.

The Human Experience - November 30th - December 1, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C. –The Dominican Priory is sponsoring a pre-screening of this new film by Grassroots Films, the creators of the "Fishers of the Men" vications video. The pre-screening will be Friday Nov. 30 at 7pm and Saturday Dec. 1 at 2pm and 7pm at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center.

PAPAL and POLISH HERITAGE ROOM - Oct, 28, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Pope John Paul II Cultural Center will reopen its Papal and Polish Heritage Room to the public. Never before seen photographs, video footage, artwork, and personal memorabilia from Pope John Paul’s childhood through his Papacy will tell the story of the first Polish Pope and one the World’s greatest spiritual leaders.

Days of Faith and Culture
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. today announced a new initiative – John Paul II Days of Faith and Culture – designed to take the Center’s messages directly to trustees and others throughout the country.

the year, the Cultural Center offers a wide variety of programs, performances, special exhibits, family festivals and lectures. Please check our Calendar often as new events are added on a regular basis. Most events and programs are free of charge, although donations are gratefully accepted. |
